Character Kidz is owned and run by Bernice Johnson who has been specialising in photographing children, babies and families for over 16 years.

The studio is based in Cape Town but Bernice travels on demand to all major centres. She loves capturing that precious moment - turning it into a memory to be cherished for years to come.

She is the official photographer of the Baba Indaba and has had many photographs published. She is also a child psychologist making her a natural when it comes to interacting with kids and getting the best out of them. She believes it is imperative to have assistance when shooting, ensuring her full concentration when capturing these images.
